FINAL CONFLICT - Ashes to Ashes LP
Far more than rudimentary thrash, Final Conflict were unique (or at least in a small club with Crucifix and Iconoclast) in that they seem to have been influenced as much or more by English peace punk / anarcho bands as they were by USHC bands. The rhythms are pure USHC, maybe even veering toward early crossover at times (mostly because of the bright, metallic production), but the lyrics and overall vibe have much more of a Discharge influence other than anyone in the US except the two aforementioned bands. Definitely a gem of the US punk scene, and you should get it if you don't already have it.
